North America’s education system does not compare well to the education systems in other countries. Gifted students are often bored by the lack of challenges in school. Often their grades do not reflect their intelligence because the curriculum caters to the students right in the middle. Some students get left behind and yet they still manage to pass without fully understanding the material.
